Jenn and Jon are friends of mine and it was a joy to help them plan and coordinate their wedding in just five months. The historic Blatchford Hangar at Fort Edmonton Park was the perfect backdrop to unite their family oriented (lots of kids) guestlist!
We designed with jewel tone colours that would stand out in a dominantly neutral and rustic setting, but also ensured that it would give off a summer-y vibe as the wedding was held in July. The outdoor ceremony utilized mahogany chivari chairs in a semi-circle layout and within the hangar, we optimize space with a mix use of rectangle and round tables for visual interest and dimension.
Sage was a notable colour for 2022 and we loved the bridesmaids in them. The loft above the hangar was also the perfect spot to host their intimate tea ceremony alongside family members. The lighting is unreal up there! It was great joy and sentiment to celebrate them as dear friends and clients.
