Alissa & Sam

Elegant | Whimsy | Unique

Designing a non-traditional wedding creates an unforgettable experience, and bringing Alissa and Sam’s vision to life was a journey we truly cherished—especially as it was inspired by our lead planner’s own immersive and interactive wedding.

As teachers and passionate food lovers, Alissa and Sam’s story began at the school where they both work. So it felt only fitting that, years later, they arrived at their ceremony in a school bus, adding a playful and sentimental touch to their big day. Their outdoor ceremony overlooked a breathtaking bend in the North Saskatchewan River, and as they walked back up the aisle, dried florals filled the air—tossed joyfully by their sea of friends and family from all walks of life.

Bringing their diverse and delicious food vision to life required careful curation, and we loved every second of it. We paired 10 incredible food and drink vendors to create an interactive, free-flowing dining experience where guests could indulge at their own pace, returning for seconds of their favorites.

The wedding palette was a perfect reflection of Alissa’s signature style—soft hues of baby pink, mauve, lilac, and salmon, mirroring her everyday wardrobe. Her personal aesthetic was infused into every design detail, creating a day that felt deeply authentic. And the food? It’s still being talked about! From logistics to the tiniest details, our team ensured every element aligned with what mattered most to this incredible couple.
